Revealing the world’s most “popular” publisher

Every year, the general company evaluate and initiate controversies Metacritic published a ranking of video game publishers based on their product reviews over the previous 12 months. This year, Sega is the publisher holding the No. 1 position thanks to titles such as Persona 4 Golden PC version (87), Football Manager 2021 (85), Yakuza: Like a Dragon (83) and other Total War DLCs with a rating The average price is 80. Re-releases of older games also help Sega strengthen its rankings, such as the launch of Yakuza 0 on Xbox One with an impressive review score of 90/100.

Second on the list is Annapurna Interactive, publisher of If Found… (84) and I am Dead (77). Annapurna Interactive has a slightly higher average review score than Sega (81.9 vs 81.6) but can’t rise to #1 because they don’t own a game with a review score higher than 90. Capcom is in 3rd place, followed by Sony with fourth place and Activision Blizzard holding fifth place.
