Recently, the developer of Red Dead Redemption 2 has just released the latest trailer for the game. While the old trailers focused on light-hearted tunes, this time, players will better understand the plot that Rockstar wants to tell us.
In the trailer, players can see the main character, Arthur Morgan, struggling with the criminal life of the Dutch gang. Red Dead 2 shows us the lives of cowboys when we have to witness the desolation of the West. This trailer focuses on the story of Morgan, with impressive graphics and game world.
If this was a game from another company, one could assume that the trailer was used to promote a demo ahead of E3 2018, but not with Rockstar Games. Although the developer is actively working on the game, Rockstar very rarely attends E3 events in the traditional way: giving players a demo experience or watching a demonstration.
In fact, the next time we see Red Dead Redemption 2 will be October, when the game is set to launch. Sure, there will be some press conference about the game or briefly talking about the plot, but overall, Rockstar Games won’t do too much to warm up its game.
This studio is too famous for the most popular games of the previous generation. What they need to do is reveal just enough information to show people what the game will look like and play. In other words, this is probably the last time we’ll see Red Dead for the next month or two.
