PUBG won't have gameplay elements, but new skins will still appear

PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds has spent weeks promoting the desert map, suggesting new weapons and vehicles, and will be put on test servers before the official release. Developer Bluehole believes that the demand for more skins in the game is very high. In August, at the Gamescom Invitational event, a special crate was released and attracted a lot of attention from gamers during that time.

During a Q&A session at the G-Star Global Game Exhibition in Korea, the CEO of PUBG Corp. and game design director Changhan Kim confirmed that the community is very interested in the skins, but that loot crates will never be pay-to-win.

“As you know, we will never add anything that affects gameplay,” Kim said. “However, the demand for the costumes is very high. But right now the main priority is on version 1.0, we plan to add skins later.”

Kim also addressed the issue of anti-cheat in the game, as well as the training regime.

In the training mode, Kim said: “Overall, I think that’s the charm of PUBG. Our feeling was, ‘There’s no practice in real life! Therefore, the game should be like that too!’ That’s why it’s so important to be honest. However, a lot of players still require practice mode or shooting range, and we believe this will help players. So, we plan to include this feature after the game officially launches.”

“We added new weapons to make up for the shortfalls in the number of weapons available in the current game, depending on the purpose and features of the gun. Of course, the gun list reflects the team’s preferences a lot,” adds Kim. “No matter how popular or special that gun is, our team has very different tastes, so there are a lot of interesting weapons being considered. There are a few weapons that are eliminated in the selection process if they unduly affect the balance of the game, they will be based on PUBG’s internal standards.”

It will certainly be on the consideration list, but since it overlaps so much with previous weapons, in terms of purpose and features, we will try to approach this from a design perspective. other design.[/penci_blockquote]
