Nier: Automata’s Last Secret Has Been Found

The ultimate secret of the RPG game, Nier: Automata, has been found. It allows the player to skip the entire plot to find a special ending.

In the ending ‘E’, when asked if you want to help another player, but who is having a hard time getting things done. If you answer yes, your game data will be deleted to create a companion AI that will help other random players when they reach the end. The way the cheat was found lets you jump straight to this question, skipping hours of gameplay.

Lance McDonald, an expert in game hacking and learning strange mechanics, share clips on Twitter how I do it. He said he will create a full video tutorial explaining what happens, but in short, after defeating the first boss, if you move to the back of the area and execute the right attack combos, walk jump between the phi buckets, you will get to the end screen as described above. Taro mentions three years and 10 months, the time since NieR: Automata came out, confirming this is the secret that has finally been discovered. NieR: Automata has sold 5 million copies by Christmas 2020.
