First announced at G-Star 2019, Ni no Kuni: Cross Worlds finally ready to launch… but only in Korean, Japanese and Taiwanese markets. Developers Netmarble also announced MMORPG Famous IP-based mobile Ni no Kuni will be released in June this year. Similar to the setting in the original, the mobile version allows players to explore 2 separate worlds.

Ni no Kuni: Cross Worlds focus on more community elements to help players interact and enjoy the game with friends. In open world, players can play dice, play music and do many other activities with their friends. With these features, Netmarble wants players to create community groups in the most natural way.

The MMORPG series usually has a lot of PvP features, but Cross Worlds’ focus is on the “fun factor”. Players will not feel interesting with only PvP feature. The fun will form when people work together and build community. Thus, the existence of a “Kingdom” system would allow players to build and maintain their country. In addition, kingdoms can compete in the promising mini-game “Kingdom Defense Battle”.

Ni no Kuni: Cross Worlds has a completely new storyline that has no direct link to the story of Ni no Kuni. Despite the same worldview, Cross Worlds is set in the distant future. Players will feel familiar emotions like the original game. Characters, maps, monsters, and more from Ni no Kuni 2 will appear in Cross Worlds. With a different story and game genre (MMORPG), Ni no Kuni: Cross Worlds will not have a specific “end” like previous games. Netmarble will continue to prepare and update excellent content for the game after its release.
