Boss Tombs of Terror
Boss Tombs of Terror

Let’s find out the stories of the most prominent bosses featured in Tombs of Terror, the single player part of Saviors of Uldum!

The article will focus on learning the legends related to World of Warcraft or Hearthstone. This time, at least two WoW dungeons became levels in Tombs of Terror.

The Lost City of TOL’VIR

The Lost City of the Tol’vir (rough translation, Lost City of Tol’vir) is one of Uldum’s four 5-person dungeons in the WoW universe. After the terrible disaster that Deathwing caused, he compromised with Al’Akir and the Skywall servants with a plan to conquer Uldum. Al’Akir then made an alliance with the Neferset, one of the two great tol’vir clans.

Serving faithfully, they take on the solid titanium body, which was discarded by the Curse of Flesh decades ago. As a result, they recapture the lost city in the heart of Uldum, under the guidance of SiamatLord of the South Wind and loyal leader of Al’Akir.

Fortunately, Siamat’s powers are too unstable to come out of his normal Skywall habitat. Although Neferset tried to turn that loss of control to his advantage, the adventurers used it to take back the city that belonged to Uldum.

General Husam

You could say General Husam is the “guard” that you must defeat to get inside Lost City. Husam’s Arabic name can be translated as “sword”. Husam is a warrior, and that’s shown through World of Warcraft’s five-man dungeon encounter.

High Prophet Barim

Similar High Priest Amet of Ramkahen, High Prophet Barim was the spiritual leader of Neferset. In the Lost City, Barim attempts to carry out Neferset’s dark plots to exploit the power of Siamat, the elemental lord sent by Al’Akir to annex Uldum and the tol’vir clan.

During the clash, he used light and dark magic to hinder the adventurers’ journey in the 5-person dungeon. Both of these spells are perfectly portrayed through Barim’s Hero Power called “Burst of Light”, which both damages enemy minions while stealing their health.

Siamat

As we all know, Siamat is one of Al’Akir’s highest ranking captains, the Elemental Lord of Air. After the Cataclysm, the defenses of Uldum fell, and Deathwing wanted to take over the land of the titans and its artifacts. To do so, Deathwing recruited Al’Akir and the minions that had escaped his Skywall.

At first Siamat was ordered to lift the curse hit by the loyal Neferset tol’vir, then Siamat’s power gradually faded and the tol’vir clan captured Siamat in the city. They want to use Siamat in the fight against tol’vir Ramkahen’s uprising.

However, many adventurers managed to enter the city and free Siamat from its shackles, only to be battered by elemental shards in the ruined ruins of the city.

About the card drawing, Siamat Very special shape: Back in the TCG WoW era, Siamat used to be the card of one of the last sets called “Tomb of the Forgotten”. However, that original TCG artifact was used in the League of Explorers card Djinni of Zephyrs as well as the boss Zinaar in the LoE (in the original Hearthstone). Therefore, Siamat Now I have a new post.

HALLS OF ORIGINATION

Earthrager Ptah

In WoW, Earthrager Ptah – a creature created from the bones of tol’vir Neferset’s enemy – is the guardians of the main pyramid entrance in the 5-player dungeon.

Ptah is the name of a bone wraith and basically looks like a leaf Bone Wraith in the SoU. The creature was first discovered in the Icecrown Citadel in the form of Lord Marrowgar, which player Hearttstone faced off in the Knights of the Frozen Throne single-player campaign.

The battle with Earthrager Ptah stands out above all thanks to its impressive effects. All in all, the Cataclysm expansion in WoW brings a lot of nice new moves and effects, making this match well worth watching!

Isiset

The main pyramid inside the Halls of Origin is protected by four different titanium blocks. Each block contains a sphere representing each “archetype”. In this 5-person dungeon, Brann leads adventurers inside the sanctuary to uncover the ancient mysteries surrounding the titan machine known as the Forge of Origination.

Isiet is the Construct of Magic, using magical energy and ‘mirror images’ to guard the machine created to protect Azeroth. Regrettably, the overwhelming power given by the titans has taken over Isiet – and that is reflected in Hearthstone in leaves. Conjured Mirage one of Isiet’s reflections traveling across Uldum.

Like many common names in Uldum, the name Isiet is of Egyptian origin. Looking at her appearance, it resembles Isis, Osiris’ wife and goddess of motherhood, magic, and fertility – perhaps Blizzard based Isist on the Egyptian goddess to create Isiet.

Like Siamat, Isiet and other dungeon bosses also exist in TCG WoW. However, the image of the Isiset card is almost unchanged. Don’t believe it? See the picture below.

Ammunae

Ammunae, Construct of Life, symbolizes the machine’s ability to regenerate life in the form of “reset” to Azeroth. The character’s Egyptian origin is Amun, the Creator, the Protector of Thebes.

In the Halls of Origination, Ammunae tries to use nature magic to stop intruders. Of course, Ammunae is suitable for the Druid class, so it makes sense for him to use a lot of Druid cards.

Similar to other constructs, Ammunae is also present in the card game Hearthstone. The character’s card image has been used in Hearthstone before, for Orsis Guards in Temple Escape of League of Explorers. Other than SiamatAmmunae still keeps her original TCG photo.

Setesh

Where there is life, there will be death, that is why Setesh exists. As the Construct of Destruction, Setesh plays an important role in protecting and displaying the power of the Forge of Origination.

Of course, Setesh’s strength lies in the chaos magic in both Hearthstone and World of Warcraft. Usually curses the opponent, as shown by Setesh’s Hero Power, the power hero curses a minion that deals damage to the opponent.

Rajh

Rajh is the final construct in the Forge of Origination, and perhaps the most powerful of all. As Construct of the Sun, Rajh controls the ability to bring about life and death through “the fury of a thousand suns”.

Rajh’s most interesting feature in Hearthstone is the original image of the card, which is used in the special card named Avatar of the Coin.

You have never seen this card? Not too surprising, because it was only used during the alpha development of Hearthstone. The topic of balance between first and second players has always been a controversial topic, so having Rajh on your side makes sense! Unfortunately, this card never appeared in the official version and was eventually replaced by The Coin.
