Mark (Seal) is introduced in Pokémon Sword & Shield as a way to personalize Pokémon a bit more. They are similar to ribbons where you can attach a Mark to a Pokemon and change the name that appears when sending them into battle. Unlike ribbon, you cannot earn Marks for Pokemon. Instead, they appear on some Pokemon you encounter in the wild. Fortunately, Mark Charm increases your chances of meeting marked Pokemon more easily. Mark Charm is the reward you get for completing Isle of Armor Pokédex. That means you have to download the DLC expansion pack, then catch all 210 Pokémon in the Isle of Armor Pokédex. This quest takes time, but you can transform Pokemon from previous generation through Pokémon HOME to speed up the process. After completing a Pokédex, you can obtain a Mark Charm.

Note: Some people don’t see their Pokémon transform in Pokémon HOME on the Isle of Armor Pokédex. The solution is to send Pokemon in place during the day to keep them, then pick them up.
