IO Interactive just launched a new location for the upcoming Hitman 3 game at the same place of sale. They announced Hitman 3 will be exclusive to the Epic Games Store when the game launches in 2021. “This partnership with Epic gives us the freedom to create games just as we imagined,” said IO Interactive CEO Hakan Abrak let me know.
The official announcement trailer for the game will be available on Epic Games Store platforms and consoles like Sony and Xbox. This trailer is set in Thornbridge Manor in Darmoor, England.
Hitman 3 will be the first game in the series’ history to be self-published by IO itself. Originally owned by Square Enix, the publisher parted ways with IO in 2017. Hitman 2 was later released. Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment undertake the release.
