Hearthstone: Saviors of Uldum is the next expansion, League of Explorers returns

The League of EVIL has taken over the city of Dalaran, but they don’t stop there. The next stop is Uldum, an ancient land full of treasures and secrets. Their detailed plan is still unknown, but it will certainly be… dark.

Now, League of Explorers is back and they won’t let them do whatever they want. Join Reno Jackson, Elise Starseeker, Brann Bronzebeard and Sir Finley Mrrgglton to uncover Rafaam’s plans and stop them. It all takes place in the ancient desert known as the “Land of the Titans”.

Saviors of Uldum is the second expansion in the Year of the Dragon! This will be Hearthstone’s 12th expansion and the second set of 2019.

New Mechanisms and Themes

• New Keyword – Reborn. After the Reborn minion dies for the first time, it will respawn with 1HP. It works just like Redemption! Restless Mummy is an example of a Reborn card.
• New theme – Plague. Each “villain” class will have a strong Plague card. They all have a strong clearing effect. Example: Priest’s Plague of Death.
• The Quest Cards are back! quest cards, first appeared in Journey to Un’Goro, recently rotated to Standard. Now, we will have a new set of Quests (one Quest per class). For those who don’t know how Quests work: they’re Legendary 1 Mana spells, which always start in your hand (but you can mulligan them anyway). Each Quest requires the player to do exactly what it says after using it, and when completed, you receive a reward. Very simple! Regarding the Quests in Un’Goro, you have to use Rewards, but Saviors of Uldum seems to upgrade your Hero Power instantly (at least with the two we see).

Content Solo Adventure

Saviors of Uldum will have more Solo content, but we don’t know the information yet.

There are two Pre-Purchase tiers. The cheaper version costs $49.99 and gives you 50 Saviors of Uldum card packs + Elise Starseeker card back + A random Golden Legendary Saviors of Uldum.

The second, more expensive, tier costs $79.99: includes everything the cheaper bundle includes, plus an additional 30 Card Packs (80 total) and the new Druid Hero skin – Elise Starseeker.
