Garena Free Fire features star Hrithik Roshan as a character in the game

Over the weekend, the newest character of Garena Free Fire was revealed, it was the Indian movie star Hrithik Roshan. This popular Bollywood actor is the first Indian character of Free Fire and will appear as Jai.

As the wave of Chinese app bans continues, the popular Battle Royale game on mobile, PUBG Mobile has recently become one of the victims. Now, another famous survival shooter is aiming to take over the huge market PUBG Mobile leave in India by introducing superstar India – Hrithik Roshan as a character in the game.

Garena Free Fire is a game similar to PUBG Mobile, where players parachute onto a map with 49 other players and fight with the goal of becoming the last survivor. Recently, Singapore-based mobile game publisher Garena announced a partnership with actor Hrithik Roshan to mark the start of a new campaign in Free Fire, “Be The Hero”. The campaign will allow players to choose the character Jai, designed after Bollywood superstar Hritik Roshan, as the first Indian character in the game.

Hritik Roshan shared, “I’m so excited to be a part of the Free Fire universe and my official avatar, Jai that the team has created is amazing. I hope that everyone players will enjoy this unique experience”.

So, with PUBG Mobile leaving the Indian market, Garena Free Fire quickly seized the opportunity to engage the Indian gaming community with more India-focused content. However, with the announcement of the launch of Fau-G, the “follow-up” PUBG Mobile game from the Indian developer itself, the competition will become very difficult.
