The major update of eFootball 2022 has been delayed.

Bad news for PES fans. According to the latest information from Konami, they will delay the major update for eFootball to spring 2022. Gamers who pre-ordered the DLC ($32.99) will be refunded now.

On its homepage, Konami explains: “Unfortunately, we need more time to finalize the major update for eFootball. The newly released version 0.9.1 is currently just a bug fix, without any new modes or content.”

As expected, version 1.0 of eFootball will be released on 11/11 with many attractive content. The most prominent of which is the myClub team building mode (similar to FIFA Ultimate Team). In previous PES releases, myClub seemed to be just a side-player that didn’t get much attention. However, with eFootball, Konami determined that this would be the main direction of the whole series. However, the delay in the update made this mode unable to come to gamers at the scheduled time.

Before that, since its launch in October, eFootball has received much criticism from the gaming community for its poor quality, bland gameplay and seriously degraded graphics. The delay of the 1.0 update made the situation worse day by day. Gamers seem to have lost patience with Konami and no longer have feelings for eFootball.
