This time, Epic Games Store gives away a surprise game. You can get the puzzle game Wilmot’s Warehouse as well as the first chapter of 3 out of 10, a sitcom game.
Both games are currently free and you can get them until August 13 on the Epic Games Store. They will later be replaced by Remnant: From the Ashes and The Alto Collection.
3 out of 10 is a surprise name this time. The game mixes many funny points: like adventures in Monkey Island or Space quest. Wilmot’s Warehouse was nominated as the best game design at the IGF Awards 2018 and it is definitely a game you must try.
In Wilmot’s Warehouse, you are the blocky Wilmot. Wilmot’s job is to manage the large warehouse and make decisions about where to put the furniture so that it can be found when needed.
“This is a game for people who like to be neat,” according to the game’s description. Each day begins with the sorting phase. During that time, you’ll receive your order and stack the crates around the warehouse as long as they fit snugly.
You have plenty of time to do this and once you are satisfied with the arrangement, you will move on to the delivery stage. The customer will come to the window and ask for the items. Your task is to go around the warehouse and find what they want.
It sounds simple, but when dealing with 30 different types of goods: each individually packaged, it can be very difficult to deliver the goods to the customer as expected.
