eFootbal 2022 becomes the worst game of all time on Steam.
Released only a few hours, Konami’s football game eFootball has broken records on Steam. However, the publisher from Japan is not proud when this is a sad record.
Accordingly, with a score of only 0.84 and 8% positive reviews, eFootball has become the game with the lowest score of all time on Steam. This position previously belonged to Flatout 3, a racing game released in 2011 with a score of 1.52 and 15% positive reviews.

The biggest minus point of eFootball is the extremely bad graphics. Even if compared with the PES versions 5-7 years ago, eFootball is not equal. Extremely bad pitch, rigid character movements, weird shapes… all have created a bad eFootball that no words can describe.
The graphics are bad, the gameplay of eFootball is not much better. eFootball has thrown away the legacy of PES with bloody fights, fast, transformative, exciting gameplay. Instead, it is a game that borrows many ideas from FIFA (EA’s), forming a mixed pot of “bad guy, bad guy”.
To defuse speculation, Konami had to announce on Twitter that the current version of eFootball is only “a demo”. The game will have many major updates in the future and gamers should give them more time.
