Dota legends return in Auto Chess, the new heights of ImbaTV & Beyond The Summit

Auto Chess tournaments are growing in popularity.

Just this week, several parties have held tournaments. BEATesports just had a showmatch between Dota 2 players, streamers and casters against professional card game players. This weekend, Beyong the Summit will also host the same event, but China is one step ahead of everyone.

ImbaTV will work directly with Dota Auto Chess development team, Drodostudio to organize a 32-person tournament. Winners will have their names engraved in the game and receive exclusive in-game titles along with unique chat wheels – which shows that the developer is preparing a new update. Unfortunately for Western fans, the ImbaTV Auto Chess cup is currently streamed exclusively on the DoyuTV platform. Among the players in attendance were Invictus Gaming owner Wang Sicong, Newbee TI4 champion Zhang “Mu” Pan, and IG TI2 champion Jiang “YYF” Cen.

Beyong the Summit is also hosting a tournament this Sunday, March 3 called the Staff Cup. Tournament organizers, studios, and casters will send their representatives to compete. But in contrast to the events we have seen before, this cup will be 4v4 matches.

How does the system work?

• Each team will have 4 members, and all 4 members must participate in all matches.
• There will be 4 group stage matches. Teams are paired with 4 other random teams.
• All matches are BO1. The team is said to lose when all members of the team are eliminated.
• Top 4 teams will advance to the next round, participating in the knockout round.
• The winning team must take a screenshot of the winning moment (before the final score screen appears), to account for the remaining health of the players in the event of a tie. If the teams tie after the group stage, the head-to-head results will prevail.
