Dota Auto Chess Adds Seasonal Ranking System, Dazzle Comes With New Class

Test server Dota Auto Chess is about to add a new patch to the game. According to an update from the test server, Dazzle will appear in the game as a new class.

The test server of Dota Auto Chess has had a few updates in the past few days, but none of them have been applied to the official mod of the game.

Update April 17:

Dazzle: Priest-Troll

Currently, we have no information about Priest bonus or Dazzle’s move in Dota Auto Chess. For the time being, Dazzle will be the sole Priest, and it’s currently unknown what other Dota 2 heroes will make it to the class. Chen might be an option worth considering.

Tournament information and seasonal rankings:

Recent Dota Auto Chess tournament information will be added to the Leaderboard, tournament results details as well as rewards are also added.

Ranked Season has been added to the game. The first season will run from May 1 to June 30. At the end of each season, players will receive rewards based on their rank.

Update April 16

Gameplay:

• Updated hero movement mechanics

Currently, there are two ways of moving in auto-chess. Move on the ground (short distance) and jump (long distance). In this update, the jump range has been changed to 300: ie when a rook needs to move two squares vertically/horizontally or diagonally, they need to move on the ground instead of jumping. This change is to reduce the chance of dodging projectile moves while jumping.

Gameplay:

• Upgraded items in the courier inventory can be split.

Balance update:

• Venomancer: Plague Ward cooldown reduced from 5/5/5/ to 5/4/3 seconds
• Mars: Instead of facing 4 directions, Mars can now attack with his shield from diagonal direction
