The final of the first Major DPC 2019-2020 took place between Vici Gaming and TNC Predator in Chengdu, China.

After the winning bracket final, Vici Gaming pushed TNC Predator to the losing bracket with a 2-0 victory. The Southeast Asian team needs to beat the Minor champion to rematch VG in the final. As everyone witnessed TNC throughout the tournament, the boys battled non-stop, taking down Invicuts Gaming and getting ready for the revenge battle. With VG, this is an opportunity for the team to win an extremely large number of DPC points.

Game 1 belongs entirely to TNC. Team outdraft, outplay opponents from start to finish. TNC did not give VG a chance to find a foothold. The Southeast Asian team controls the map and counters any initiative. Just over an hour, VG was forced to type GG. The next game played out similarly, with TNC completely crushing the Chinese giants. With the Morphling + Earthshaker combo that overwhelmed IG before, TNC continued to handle VG and temporarily led 2-0.

With the door to winning the first Major slowly closing, VG needs to bounce back if it wants to continue. It seemed that that was impossible when TNC had Chen + Alchemist, but VG found the gap and temporarily removed 2-1.

The 4th and final game of MDL Chengdu was extremely tense, showing that TNC is one of the strongest Dota 2 teams today. Although VG had the advantage of leading nearly 30k networth, TNC still used the Morphling + Earthshaker combo to destroy hopes of equalization.

With this win, TNC Predator defeated Vici Gaming 3-1, claiming their first Major title, with $300,000 and 4,850 DPC points.
