Team Secret continues to dominate the DPC season 2018-2019 and this time is no exception. The team achieved a 4-0 record against their opponents in the group stage.
PaiN Gaming was the first team to make it difficult for Secret. When it comes to kills, paiN always knows how to change lives and sometimes have the upper hand in teamfights. This put Secret at a disadvantage in game 1.

Secret had to work hard until the 50th minute to come back. In the end, Secret lost in terms of kills, but the team still won.
Thanks to the systematic gameplay, Secret gradually grasped the habit of paiN to soon punish the opponent. The team picks Mars and Sniper to put pressure on the lanes. Game 2 quickly ended within 26 minutes with Secret leading 22-7, taking the score 2-0.
Also in Group A, Fnatic is the remaining strong team. The Southeast Asian team faces off against Royal Never Give Up. RNG wasn’t in the top 20 before entering this tournament, but they were the surprise team.
Fnatic crushed the opponent in game 1, making people think that RNG getting to the Major was just luck. Fnatic has 3 times more kills than RNG.
Being led 1-0, RNG seemed to have accepted their fate and settled in the losing bracket. However, the team fought back fiercely in game 2.

Du “Monet” Peng continues to be a standout player for RNG. And in game 3, he was still the one to shine. Using draft Sven, Abaddon and Outworld Devourer, RNG again won a narrow victory against the Southeast Asian tycoon. This win pushes Fnatic to the lower bracket while RNG will face Secret.
Like the paiN match, Secret struggled against his opponent in the first game. RNG took advantage of the favorable push, but Secret successfully responded to win game 1.

RNG stabilized their lineup in the late game and under a defensive effort from Money, the team kept Secret for the first 60 minutes before allowing the European giants to qualify for the next round.
After losing to Secret, RNG faced Fnatic for the second time and this time beat them 2-0. Fnatic and paiN were relegated to the knockout round.
