Recently, OG released a video saying that Johan “N0tail” Sundstein looks like he will take the coach position. However, now a new video explains exactly what’s going on in the OG organization.
In the video, we are 100% confirmed that OG will not be attending the next Major, with the qualifiers open starting this November 29. As in the explainer video, n0tail explains everything that led to OG’s decision – including announcing the second OG roster: OG Seed. This lineup was actually present on the Dota 2 Major and Minor registration page under the name “4 Euros 1 Murica” but was kept quiet until OG announced it.
On the official OG website, Sébastian “Ceb” Debs said the following:
Our idea was simple: in addition to the original roster, we wanted to create a roster of players that we believed weren’t quite as successful as they could be. We will help them pursue this dream. From here until the third Major of the DPC season, the champion will directly pour talent, effort and energy into OG Seed.
OG also said they have completely thought through this roster, including considering the DPC regulations.
OG Seed’s lineup is as follows:
- Rasmus ‘Chessie’ Blomdin
- Omar ‘Madara’ Dabachach
- Andreas ‘Xibbe’ Ragnemalm
- Zakari ‘ZFreek’ Freedman
- Petu ‘Peksu’ Vaatainen
Not just one member of OG coaches this roster, but the entire team participates together. Let’s wait and see what OG Seed will bring in the next qualifiers.
