Nigma’s first performance in this new DPC season didn’t go well as the team failed to qualify for the DreamLeague Season 13 Major. Now, Nigma will have another chance to try his hand at the WePlay qualifiers! Bukovel Minor.
After Vikin.gg defeated Nigma the day before, Nigma needed to survive the loser bracket if he wanted revenge. Although not playing at their best and still learning about this update, Nigma did not disappoint fans. A 2-0 victory opened the day as they overcame Team Singularity to get ready for the final against Vikin.gg. The winning team will represent Europe at the first Minor of next year.
In this BO5 rematch series, Nigma got off to a great start, winning game 1 in over 20 minutes, before crushing his opponents in game two. Reaching series points, Nigma entered game 3 quickly and smoothly, gaining a clear advantage. Vikin.gg could not find a solution, for Nigma to destroy and avenge.
While Nigma may have fallen out of favor in the Major qualifiers, they will now have a chance to get to Leipzig through the Minor, as long as they win. Until WePlay! Bukovel Minor is on, we probably won’t see Nigma play anything but the team will definitely work hard to be in top form for 2020.
