Dota 2: Na`Vi was knocked out at TI8 open qualifiers

The International 2018 open qualifiers are underway and many teams have already found their way into the official qualifiers for the most prestigious tournament of the year. The CIS region has 3 names participating in the next round and unfortunately, Na`Vi is not among them.

The first team was Team Empire, as they didn’t lose a single game in the regional qualifiers. Empire will compete with Vega Squadron and FlyToMoon in the next round.

But, the most surprising thing was that Natus Vincere was eliminated in the first round against ESPADA after losing 2-0. The former kings of TI are no longer themselves when they are overwhelmed by their opponents from the beginning to the end of the game. But that doesn’t mean Na`Vi’s TI dream is over, the team still has one more chance to reach the official qualifiers. ESPADA was then defeated by Double Dimension in just two games.

But ESPADA still has one more chance in the CIS regional qualifiers and they will have to face slozhiny memas if they want to claim the final ticket. Slozhiny memas is a fairly new team, but these guys have beaten Na`Vi once before – in the MDL Changsha CIS qualifiers so we can’t underestimate this team. ESPADA is an organization affiliated with Team Spirit when the two sides work together to nurture young esports talents in the CIS and esports enthusiasts. In the end, ESPADA defeated the Slozhiny memas in just two games and became the third and final team to qualify for the CIS regional qualifiers.
