The studio is now also posting two more vacancies for the new Diablo game – character artist and concept artist. Also, it looks like the title already exists, at least in part: Blizzard employees got to see Diablo 4.
The job posting states that the studio is developing a “new Diablo project,” emphasizing that knowledge of the Diablo universe is important. If these positions play a key role in the development of this game, it shows that the game’s launch time is still quite far away. However, another source cited otherwise.
According to the French newspaper Le Monde, Blizzard employees in Paris have seen Diablo 4. The article states that “the Blizzard Entertainment team is entitled to see Diablo 4 and says that a new Overwatch game is also on the way. But they won’t be available before 2020.
It looks like the next big Diablo game is either ready or in enough stage for staff to see, although the launch date is still a long way off.
