CSGO: Fifflaren reveals old messages, calling for NiP CEO to resign

Former Ninjas in Pajamas CSGO player Robin ‘Fifflaren’ Johansson has called for current NiP CEO Hicham Chaine to step down.

Fifflaren shocked the CSGO community on July 23, when he made multiple accusations before NiP. He said the organization kept the players’ money, changed members without consulting the team, and added unfair terms to the contract so that the players could be fired at any time.

Since Fifflaren gave an interview to Richard Lewis, many other players have shared their experiences with Ninjas in Pajamas: Mikail ‘Maikelele’ Bill, Richard ‘Xizt’ Landström, and Adam ‘friberg’ Friberg.

The current NiP CEO, Hicham Chahine, also shared that the current management “dedicated all the time and energy to recovering the organization from the old management” and was “fixing those problems.”

Fifflaren doesn’t believe it, publishing messages from 2016 showing he asked Chahine for help because he didn’t have the money to pay taxes, but was ignored by the NiP CEO.

“Do you want to see screenshots when I ask for help because I don’t have money to pay taxes and you ignore me?” former NiP player wrote on Twitter. “[Tôi] This is probably just one of many. Please pay the player and refuse.”

According to the user’s interpretation Liiinusen, messages from Fifflaren showed “tax due tomorrow”, and he could not get money to pay from the organization. Because if he did, the tax would question him and ask him to explain why he transferred $10,000 from a US bank account to an account outside the country.

He then explained that he had asked to borrow it, but his parents didn’t have that number, and weren’t sure how to proceed. And according to Fifflaren, he received no response.

NiP has yet to comment on the new allegations. Chahine just stated that he is open to dialogue with any former players or staff members with unresolved issues.

With players like friberg also voicing more accusations to come, it seems we’ve only seen the tip of the iceberg of this drama.
