Clash of Clans World Championship 2020 has just been announced by Supercell and ESL. The tournament will have a total prize money of 1 million dollars.
The format of the tournament is similar to last year. Teams will enter the monthly clan war league in-game or ESL Play Cups to win tickets to the monthly offline qualifiers. The winning team will get a ticket to Clash of Clans World Finals 2020.
The top four clans in the clan war league and the top four from the ESL Play Cups will participate in the monthly offline qualifiers at ESL Arena Katowice.
Here is the full schedule for 2020:
Qualifier 1
- February 1 to 10: Clan War League
- February 12-14: ESL Play Cups
- March 27 to 29: Qualifier 1 offline
Qualifier 2
- March 1-10: Clan War League
- March 12-14: ESL Play Cups
- April 24-26: Offline 2nd Qualifier
Qualifier 3
- April 1-10: Clan War League
- April 12-14: ESL Play Cups
- May 29-31: Qualifier 3 offline
Qualifier 4
- May 1-10: Clan War League
- May 12-14: ESL Play Cups
- June 26-28: Qualifier 4 offline
Qualifier 5
- June 1-10: Clan War League
- June 12-14: ESL Play Cups
- July 24-26: Offline 5 Qualifiers
Qualifier 6
- July 1-10: Clan War League
- July 12-14: ESL Play Cups
- August 24-26: Round 6 offline
The winner of each qualifier will go to Clash of Clans World Finals 2020, tournament details have yet to be shared. Last year, in addition to the 6 teams from the offline qualifiers, tickets also took place in the game to determine two more teams to participate in the World Finals.
