Change directory to install game on Uplay

How to change the location to download and install the game on Uplay

Step 1: You start the software Uplay on your computer and then log in to your account. If not, you can register for a Uplay account right at the main interface of the software.

Step 2: At the main interface of Uplay, you left-click three dash icon horizontal in the upper left corner of the screen as below.

Step 3: Select Next on item Settings.

Step 4: In the list of options that appear, click Downloads.

Step 5: Downloads details appear, you observe two items:

• Default game installation location.
• Game installer cache location.

This is the place where when you download (buy) games on Uplay to your computer. To change to a new location, simply left-click on the item Change.

Step 6: At this point, a Windows window will appear, find a new location where you want to save the game and install the PC game. Click Finish OK To confirm.

Step 7: At this point, a message appears, asking if you want to change to the new location? Since all previously purchased and installed games will remain in their original locations, it cannot be moved to the new location.

If yes, choose YesIf not, choose No.

In this way, we will save space on C: drive. This not only helps the computer operate more efficiently but also ensures safety if unfortunately the game downloaded from Uplay has problems.
