Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night mobile is more than just a port

If you are a fan of the Metroidvania genre and want to experience the game on mobile, then you should not miss Koji Igarashi’s masterpiece Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night. Inspired by Castlevania, following a successful Kickstarter campaign in 2015, this action-platformer is out in 2019 on PC, PS4, Xbox One and Switch. Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night is highly appreciated by experts and fans alike. Now, Chinese developer NetEase Games (Diablo Immortal, The Lord of the Rings: Rise to War) will bring Bloodstained to mobile on iOS and Android.

This is more than just a port, as Net Ease will add many tweaks and improvements to make things on mobile more interesting.

The port will have “a more mobile-friendly control screen, as well as a redesigned interface, skill shard icons, and an achievement system.” Skill shard and weapon skills will now be displayed on the screen with new “Gothic style” icons. NetEase also simplifies special attacks, with many tweaks to help Bloodstained run as smoothly as possible. You can see more details here.

However, we currently do not have an official launch time. Fans may have to wait for more information from NetEase to know when the game is ready for mobile.
