Blizzard sues Chinese game Overwatch for plagiarism

The mobile game called Heroes of Warfare has a lot of similarities with Overwatch and it is still alive and well today.

Overwatch developer and distributor NetEase sued the developer of 4399EN GAME. With the content is a game called Heroes of Warfare infringing on copyright issues for the game Overwatch. Blizzard is waiting for an explanation and apology from 4399EN GAME according to PC Watch and Kotaku.

Blizzard and NetEase want the game to be removed from the Apple IOS and Android App store.

Not only is each hero surprisingly similar, but even some of the maps of Heroes of Warfare are as well.

There’s reason to say they’re just Overwatch inspired, but those are just gratuitous excuses to cover up their piracy.

If all goes well, Blizzard will win the lawsuit and Heroes of Warfare will be removed from the mobile app store.
