Beta Age of Empires 3 Definitive Edition starts in February

Microsoft’s RTS strategy games continue to be remastered. This time we will have Age of Empires III: Definitive Edition. We’ve been hearing a little about the game since the trilogy was announced for remastering. Now, the developer is ready to introduce more about the game. The beta phase of the game will begin soon.

Beta for Age of Empires III: Definitive Edition starts in February, according to Xbox Insiders forum post. (Quite funny, this forum is public for everyone to follow). The beta will be limited to participants, but you can register as an Insider on the website, and adjust your parameters to receive an invite. Invitations will be sent to your email.

Beta will take place on Steam and Microsoft Store. Each beta phase includes a small portion of the game. Beta multiplayer will start in early February, but the numbers are very limited. More beta invites will be distributed in March.

The game also has beta campaigns for the campaign, but they are only available to a small group of gamers.

Meanwhile, Age of Empires 4’s release date is still a long way off, but at least we still have remasters to enjoy.
