Artifact has allowed the recycling of cards in the Ticket event

In fairly quick response, Valve Updated a few patch notes, addressing the concerns raised by the community after the game was allowed to stream.

The most important news is the ability to recycle cards and get something in return – a feature that was not available before. For example, in Hearthstone, the player can “dust” the cards they don’t want and get in-game resources back, and use it to create the cards they want. In Artifact, you will get to do the same thing, only the leaves you don’t want will be recycled in the ticket event. This allows players to turn useless cards received from card packs to receive more new packs.

Two other changes in draft mode. While it’s quite challenging to play, drafting isn’t for everyone. Artifact currently lacks a practice mode for drafts and a way to organize draft events with friends. In the beta patch Artifact Coming soon, both of these features will appear.

“There is no way to practice draft mode without spending an event ticket,” Valve let me know. “Draft is fun, but it can also be very challenging. We agree that there needs to be a way to practice it before participating in this competitive mode. In the beta Artifact Next, those who already have their starter content will find Casual Phantom Draft in the Casual Play section.”

“Since the NDA ended yesterday, there have been many contributions to everything in the game,” Valve admit. “The majority of the responses gave a clear signal that we underestimated the community’s interest in features that weren’t available during the early beta.”
