Apex Legends: Summary of information about the mysterious Crypto legend

Apex Legends fans are trying to figure out if Season 2 will launch to 2 Legends. You probably already know about Wattson, but what about Crypto?

The content of Apex Legends Season 2 is being eagerly awaited by fans, because it has a lot of changes, including the brand new Legend named Wattson.

However, when a lot of information about Wattson has been “unearthed”, people are now turning their attention to Crypto – Legend is considered likely to appear in Season 2.

Who is Crypto?

Despite being a battle royale and multiplayer only game, the characters of Apex Legends still have their own backstory.

While we wait for the official announcement from Crypto, this Legend has appeared in the Pathfinder background image. The character appears on the photo hanging outside the window, wearing a blue and white coat.

However, the information does not stop here. It looks like this Legend holds a sword – this could be a true melee character in the game.

Respawn Confirmed Crypto Existence?

Apex Legends players first discovered Crypto in March, when many leaked files showed that this unreleased Legend was being prepared by Respawn.

While other Legends like Wattson get more attention, we don’t have to wait long before everyone turns their attention to Crypto. Players have been hypothesized about Crypto since June 22, when Redditor FrozenFroh discovered files suggesting a second Legend could appear in Season 2.

These files refer to the laptop that appeared in the recent trailer. But things don’t stop there. While Respawn has yet to confirm the existence of Crpyto, the laptop played a key role in the June 27 mini-clip.

What skills does Crypto possess?

One obvious hint from the mini-clip is that the words ‘ACTIVATE EMP’ and a strange ultiamte appear at one point in the clip. That shows that Crypto has the potential to cause interference – possibly related to the map or preventing other players from using their skills.

This character seems to have influenced the plot of the new season, so it makes sense for Crypto to appear.

Apex Legends Season 2 will launch on July 2, so we won’t have to wait long for more information about this Legend.
