Apex Legends: Pathfinder Guide

Apex Legends takes an Overwatch-style approach to its Battle Royale game with 8 unique characters with distinct skills.

One of them is Pathfinder, a robot that assists the team through any critical situation.

Pathfinder is a support class in the game. This character can turn the tide if controlled by a good player and should not be underestimated.

This robot may seem more useless at first glance than the other characters – but if you know what you’re doing, Pathfinder can single-handedly help the team win.

Insider Knowledge – Passive

Pathfinder’s Passive (passive) allows this character to use survey signals contained in the map to find out the location of the next circle.

This move is very useful in the later stages of the game as the circle gets smaller and smaller, giving you a tactical advantage over other teams. Once you know the location of the next circle, you can change locations and create ambushes for teams that will enter the ring at a later time.

But be careful, using this skill will leave you short-lived and vulnerable to enemy attacks, so make sure you’re safe before activating it.

The biggest problem is that these survey signals are hard to find and they are mostly in towns or crowded areas. The vast majority of Pathfinder players are unaware of the existence of this move and often pass by the signals without even noticing.

Pay attention to the surrounding areas and you will support your teammates well.

Grappling Hook – Q

This move is the main reason you choose Pathfinder.

The Grappling Hook fires a short hook to pull you to the location of the hook. It allows you to reach places that normal jumping can’t reach.

You can also use this move to pull running opponents and pull them towards you and then deal with him.

Be careful when using it to pre-survey the area for the team. If you go too far and accidentally get caught in a fight, it can cost you, dying alone before your teammates can timely assist.

Zipline Gun – Ultimate

Pathfinder’s Ultimate lets you set up a cable car for you, your teammates, and your opponents to use to move around the map. You mainly want to use it to change the team’s position or get to higher positions that normally cannot be reached.

However, you need to use this skill wisely. Save it for a quick escape, or give the team an advantage in the final round. Some Pathfinders will take up a fully equipped sniper and climb to the top of a mountain to snipe the enemy.
