The supporting roles make a strong impression in the Marvel cinematic universe (P.1)

1. ‘Executioner’ – Skurge

In the movie Thor: Ragnarok, Skurge, despite being known as the “Executioner”, plays the role of Asgrad’s doorman, replacing Heimdall. The two guns M16: Des – Troy are the image associated throughout the film with this “execution” and are also the thing that makes the deepest impression on the audience. Not to the point of being extremely cold-blooded, cruel as in the original, Skurge in the film still has a bit of humanity. At the end of the movie, even if he escaped to the ship, he was ready to leave Asgard. But with the lives of his compatriots threatened by the Zombie Undead, Skurge decided to sacrifice himself so that the people could escape.

2. Yondu Udonta

Yondu is just a secondary villain in Guardian of the Galaxy, who hates and often pursues the Starlord guy, bringing him a lot of trouble. But in the second movie, Yondu was revealed to be a person who cared about Starlord very much, considered him as his own son and joined the Guardians group for a short time only to die in the next scene. In fact, in the comic version, Yondu is the founder of the Guardians of the Galaxy group.

3. War Machine

Although only a supporting character, War Machine is one of the most appearing in the cinematic universe Marvel, even more than a few main characters. Right from the first movie, Iron Man (2008), James Rhodes has been side by side with his friend Tony Stark. In terms of combat prowess, War Machine is like a lesser version of Iron Man. He owns an armor full of heavy weapons, only missing some of the advanced equipment that Tony keeps for himself. Each time War Machine entered the battle, it was like an entire army fighting at the same time. However, this character has the disadvantage that the ability to react is quite slow, easy to ambush.

4. Heimdall

Just playing a not very prominent supporting role, but Heimdall is a huge unknown of MCU up to the present. Appearing with Thor in the movies about the Thunder God, this Asgardian gatekeeper has a “dangerous” level that no one dares to underestimate. Originally, Heimdall was only known for his ability to see and hear everything in the universe as well as control Bifrost. But gradually, Heimdall surprises with his ability to free himself from Loki’s ice or to be the only one who can see Dark Elf’s stealth ships.

5. Grandmaster

Grandmaster first appeared in The Avengers #69 (1969) by Marvel Comics. He is one of the oldest beings in the universe, appearing shortly after the Big Bang. Along with his younger brother The Collector, Grandmaster is a member of the Cosmic Elders. In addition to great power, the character also has a hobby of controlling and betting based on the opponent’s life. In Thor: Ragnarok, the Grandmaster character is considered to be built quite like the original when he owns both the planet Sakaar and the bloody arena system.
