The Dota 2 Pro Circuit 2019-2020 is almost here and now we know more about the second Major of the season. The second major is DreamLeague Season 13, The Leipzig Major.
It’s been more than two years since the DPC came to Germany for the event, with ESL One Hamburg 2017 being the last to count towards the DPC points system. Since then, Hamburg has hosted ESL One 2018 and 2019 – 2019 which will start in a few days – but without any DPC. However, with DreamLeague Season 12 entering its final days, the organizers announced that Germany will be the destination for the second Major in January 2020.
The biggest attraction of this season’s second Major is the return of strong teams, such as OG, Team Secret, the old Liquid roster and PSG.LGD. These teams have decided to skip the first Minor/Major of this season. However, we will have to wait until early December of the regional qualifiers to confirm who will attend.
From January 24 to 26, 2020, the second Major of this DPC season takes place at the Leipziger Messe in Germany. Tickets to the final three days of the Major will go on sale from October 22, 2019. More details on ticket prices and events can be found on the official DreamHack Major website.
After a few Southeast Asian and Chinese teams were unable to prepare their Visas for ESL One Hamburg 2019, hopefully they will have enough time to prepare for the German tournament in 2020.
