Complexity announced that Rory “dephhh” Jason had retired from the team, and Shahzeb “ShahZaM” Khan had been substituted.
This announcement ends the long relationship between dephh and Complexity. The England international was recruited in February 2016 to fill in the vacancy Kory “SEMPHIS” Friesen and Timothy “automatic” I leave.
Two years later, ShahZaM moved from OpTic to Peter “stanislaw” Jarguz. During their time at Complexity, the duo won the Americas Minor and entered three Majors – making it to the FACEIT Major playoffs for the first time.
Complexity believes this roster needs further refinement following the presence of blameF and RUSH. Within the two’s first weeks, the failed team qualified for DreamHack Open Atlanta, dropping out of two ECS tournaments from the semifinals and finishing third in the group stage of ESL Pro League Americas.
According to information from 1pv.fr, the North American team has kept an eye on Kristian “k0nfig” Wienecke, who is currently looking for a new place after OpTic CSGO disbanded.
Complexity will be back in two weeks for phase 2 of ESL Pro League Americas. They are currently in the same group as DETONA, ATK and EnVy – only the top team will qualify for the LAN finals in Odense.
With this change, the Complexity lineup is as follows:
Owen “oBo” Schlatter
Benjamin “blameF” Bremer
William “RUSH” Wierzba
Jamie “keita” Hall (coach)
Shahzeb “ShahZaM” Khan (sub)
