10 FPS games worth waiting for gamers in 2018 (P.1)

2018 is definitely a “bumper” year for fans of the genre FPS when a series of promising names of this series are scheduled to be released this year.

1. Overkill’s The Walking Dead

When will we be able to enjoy a new Left 4 Dead game? Nobody knows but Valve. From now on, players can only look to games with similar themes to “fill the void”, and Overkill’s The Walking Dead is a prominent name among them.

Also with the 4-player co-op formula, the next game in the The Walking Dead series will help players solidify their position in a team. Each character in the game will bring their own ways of playing, skill systems, skills and storylines… Effective coordination between 4 team members will be the only way for players to survive in a world full of monsters. The dangers of The Walking Dead. Obviously, fast and stealthy is the most suitable way to survive among the large Zombie legions. A thorough search between crevices or cliffs will bring you unexpected weapons or resources, but danger will always be lurking around. Do you have the courage to try? GTFO will be released this year on PC but there is no set date yet.

3. Call of Duty: Black Ops 4

The launch of the biggest FPS game of 2018 was confirmed in a marketing campaign with the IIII logo printed hat worn by James Harden, the star scorer of the Houston Rockets.

This is the 4th installment of the popular Black Ops spin-off series, and also the 15th title of Call of Duty. All information about Black Ops 4 is still kept private, but we have reason to believe that the zombies will return sometime in October this year (Beta Access) on PC, PS4 and Xbox One. There are rumors that Black Ops 4 will also have a version on Switch, but nothing is certain yet.

Black Ops 4 uses the notation IIII or because of the number IV in the Roman numeral system. Reason? Perhaps to make a difference, or for some deeper reason, we can only wait until the Community Reveal Event on May 17 to understand.

4. Metro Exodus

Metro Exodus will throw players into the cold Russian desert in the post-apocalyptic period. The weather is obviously not the only concern of the player, when the animals and plants have all been mutated. Want to survive? You will have to go hunting. But believe me, tigers will only look like domestic cats when compared to what you have to face in this post-apocalyptic world.

This is the third game in the Metro series, with an amazing weather system, day-night rotation and promising seasonal environment changes. To survive, players will have to create their own tools from the remains of a lost civilization.

The game will be released this fall on all 3 systems PC, PS4 and Xbox One.

5. World War Z

Another famous name with a zombie pandemic theme that will rock the FPS community in 2018. Along with 3 other players, you will have to confront countless zombies to find a way to survive. . It seems that “co-op” and “zombie” will be two extremely popular keywords this year.

World War Z is currently still quite tight-lipped with a few meager gameplay revelations. Accordingly, the game will require the player to use the head more than the weapon. Smart tactics, mischievous traps … are the key for you and your teammates to survive in this game. In addition, each character in the game will also have its own story arc.

The game will be released in 2018, but there is no specific time yet.
