Wild Sword Event – League of Legends Wild Rift: How to unlock Irelia & Riven for free

Riot Games announced the next 2 champions in the update Wild Rift Alliance 2.3 recently named Irelia and Riven.

Currently, League of Legends: Wild Rift offers players the option to choose from 66 champions. Irelia and Riven are two new additions to the list of champions.

How to unlock Irelia and Riven for free

With the launch of new champions, Riot Games announced the challenge Broken Sword for players to unlock them for free. The event will start on June 3, 2021 | 00:00 UTC and ends on June 15, 2021 | 23:59 UTC.

Players need to complete the set of quests to unlock both champions for free. The quests are divided into two parts – main and secondary. Besides, players will also receive many different rewards such as poro coins, blue motes…

Specific tasks

Players will receive two sets of quests to unlock their favorite champions in Wild Rift Alliance. You need to complete both the main and side quests to get the Hero Pick Chest (Riven or Irelia). Only after completing a set of missions can you unlock a 2nd champion.

Riven – The Exile

Once a swordsman in the war of Noxus, Riven wields a legendary classical sword and a Warband of his own. This fighting champion is usually played in Baron lane. Below is a list of tasks you need to complete to unlock this champion.

Irelia – Dance Swordsman

Ionia is known for the ancient dances of her homeland. This champion is usually played in Baron lane. Below is a list of tasks you need to complete to unlock this champion.
