Although at TwitchCon 2019, CEO Twitch Emmett Shear has promised more “transparency and consistency” in the implementation of the rules to ensure fairness for the streamer but it doesn’t seem like it’s over yet. Still, the seemingly absurd bans were put in place that made many people unhappy, but the latest victim is Corinna Kopf – a model, streamer who has just been locked out of her channel because she was mistaken for intentionally “revealing” when live stream live over the weekend.

To celebrate his 24th birthday, Kopf went live on Twitch to chat with fans. In that video, she was actually wearing a Chanel tank top, not underwear as Twitch alleged. “Twitch is not fair” is the status line that Kopf posted later, targeting the platform’s absurdity in banning her while there are many other streamers who dress “cooler” and do actions. more ludicrous, it is still “safe and unharmed.”

“I got banned on Twitch for wearing underwear even though the shirt I was wearing was a tank-top bought from Chanel. I got banned for wearing a cute shirt.”

Kopf currently owns a Twitch account with nearly 400,000 followers, Instagram with 3.3 million followers and Twitter with 973,000. She first joined Twitch in 2018 but it was not until June of this year when she started livestreaming regularly that the number of followers increased rapidly. Kopf also asserted that, if it is reasonable for Twitch to ban her for the reason of dressing cool, it would take up to three-quarters of the livestream videos on this platform to be banned.

With that said, this is not the first time Twitch has been criticized for unreasonable bans. Streamer “PaymoneyWubby” is banned when streaming at a store even though he has been given permission to do so by the restaurant. CS:GO legend Oleksandr ‘s1mple’ Kostyliev after being locked out of his channel for undisclosed reasons on November 29 announced the termination of cooperation with this platform.

Corinna Kopf has yet to reveal how long she will receive the ban and if she intends to return to the livestream once the ban is over.
