The creator of the MOBA Battlerite game, the developer Stunlock Studios brought some action elements of the game in V Rising to create a rare combination – a survival game with engaging battles. V Rising is a multiplayer survival game where the characters can become Count Dracula when night falls or a farmer who cuts trees and builds houses when avoiding the light of day. V Rising is now on Steam.
V Rising is out Early Access yesterday and immediately flew up like a kite in the wind. The game attracts 46,593 players online at the same time and is the 12th game in the world Steam. User ratings for V Rising are very positive, with praise for its combat technique, PvP, engaging boss battles, and powerful enemies.
Stunlock Studios marketing director Johan Ilves said: “The day has finally come, vampire Ours have revealed themselves in the moonlight, and it’s up to the player to uncover their secrets. With a lot of blood, sweat and tears (but mostly blood), we created the foundation for a truly unique vampire gaming experience. This Early Access campaign will allow us to tweak V Rising and take the final steps in perfecting the gem that will define this new genre of games.”
The aim of Stunlock Studios is to take V Rising out of Early Access within 12 months and bring the final version with more content including enemies, biomes, recipes, weapons, etc. Hopefully, in the future, the game will also have controller support and be playable on the Steam Deck.
