The new PUBG update is live on the game’s test server and it focuses on new skins.
The focus of this PUBG update is the Bengal Tiger parachute skin. This skin can be purchased for $4.99 and can only be purchased once per account. Skin changes your parachute when jumping out of a plane.
In addition, the game also released a new Aviator crate, with many costumes as shown below. Chests can be found in the in-game shop, and to open you need an Aviator Key.
From a gameplay perspective, only a few changes were mentioned. You can now use Lightweight Grip and Half Grip on Vectors, and the game also has some small balance adjustments. For example, the first shot from the M16A4 will have less recoil, the shotgun ammo’s spread is also reduced; Shotgun chokes and duckbills also become less effective at reducing bullet spread.
PUBG Corp says it’s still monitoring feedback from the update three weeks ago, which impacted a wide range of weapons.
“Based on what we have seen, the team will change the M16A4 in the next update,” PUBG Corp. speak. “Also, we are also adjusting the drop rates for weapons, so please continue to share feedback.”
Meanwhile, the quality of PUBG in the game is still struggling, with many gamers experiencing FPS drops and lag in the server. The developer says this is a priority target that needs to be fixed.
“We have seen many of you concerned about the overall quality of the game. Fixing FPS drop will be our top goal and hope that the next updates will improve the game quality soon. For now, the team will try to release the patches in this update. Thank you to everyone who calmly continued to accompany us during this time.”
