Ubisoft suddenly launched a game based on the hit Avatar blockbuster, which will be released in 2022

A new game based on the hit movie Avatar by director James Cameron was revealed during Ubisoft Forward 2021 taking place at E3 2021 called – Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora. This is going to be a first-person open-world RPG that allows players to explore uncharted regions of the planet Pandora. Gamers will not have to wait much longer because Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora will launch on PS5 on many different platforms.

Specifically, Frontiers of Pandora is a first-person action-adventure game developed in partnership with Lightstorm Entertainment and Disney. The game will have a storyline independent of the movie Avatar, where the player takes the role of a Navi and takes the player on a journey across the western frontier, an “unprecedented” part of the planet Pandora.

Details about Frontiers of Pandora are scant, but Ubisoft says the game will feature “a lively world inhabited by unique creatures and new characters.” The goal of the player’s adventure is to repel the forces of the RDA (Resource Development Administration), who are threatening the planet.

Developer Massive Entertainment, part of Ubisoft Studio, originally announced the start of development on a game set in the Avatar movie in early 2017. Massive Entertainment said that it was developing a game based on the Avatar movie. on its own Snowdrop Engine to “bring the wonders of Pandora to everyone” on modern consoles. Massive Entertainment is best known as the developer of The Division series, although they have helped develop Ubisoft role-playing games like Far Cry 3 and Assassin’s Creed: Revelations.

There has been a lot of speculation about whether Ubisoft’s Avatar game will be canceled after so much silence, but its reunion proves that the Massive Entertainment team has worked hard to bring the title to life. Your new game comes to life on the latest and greatest technology. Regardless of any plans for a release, the game will release before the sequel to James Cameron’s untitled 2022 Avatar movie, but Ubisoft is creating a piece of the universe all its own.

This is not Ubisoft’s first attempt at a game based on the popular Avatar movie, as the publisher has previously made a game based on the first movie. It was not well received by fans and the gaming community. That said, it looks like Ubisoft is trying to enrich James Cameron’s universe this time around, as opposed to the previous installment.
