The world’s oldest CS: GO team appeared, people over 70 still compete with their children and grandchildren

Recently, a tournament CS:GO very special was held in Odessa, Ukraine. Participating in the tournament was a team named Young Guard, but the age of the players is not very “Young” when the youngest player on the team is 66 years old and the oldest player is also 78 years old. However, age is just a number and they can’t stop the grandparents from “dancing” with their children and grandchildren in this national tournament. Young Guard’s one-of-a-kind lineup was immediately included in Ukraine’s record books.

This unusual tournament is organized by the Southern Ukraine Cyber ​​Sports Federation and there are no restrictions on player rank (ELO), gender, age or other aspects that might prevent players from participating. Literally, it’s also completely free. The only rule is that all players are required to compete with each other, without any restrictions or reservations.

Their players are mostly young players, who are students or students around the area. Many people were surprised when they had to confront people who were old enough to be their grandparents at home. After the tournament, despite not achieving high results, the Young Guard players were awarded a certificate for a national record, According to a local newspaper, this is a historic moment, the first time there is a record.
