The Game Awards – the award ceremony that can be considered the Oscar of the gaming industry – is scheduled to return this year.
More than just an awards ceremony, The Game Awards is also an event where publishers and game developers big and small announce their new products. Because of this, The Game Awards is always a much-awaited event of the year with the gaming community.
The event hosted by famous reporter Geoff Keighley will take place on December 9 at the Microsoft theater, in the city of Los Angeles.
After being held online last year due to the epidemic, The Game Awards 2021 will return to the model of an organization with invited guests.
The Game Awards has grown every year and by 2020, the event has 83 million followers worldwide. Similar to every year, The Game Awards 2021 will stream the event live on platforms such as YouTube and Twitch.

At The Game Awards 2020, the most notable revelations were the appearance of Sephiroth in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, Xbox reboot of the Perfect Dark franchise, new Dragon Age and Mass Effect info, It Take Two and Ark 2, etc.
This year we can expect a new trailer for Elden Ring, God of Wars: Ragnarok, and possibly a new Hideo Kojima project.
