Former Cloud9 player Jake “Stewie2K” Yip has officially joined SK Gaming. This information was confirmed by the Brazilian boys in SK.
The 20-year-old player moved to SK’s gaming house after the negotiation process found a common ground. This move was announced by SK players on social networks, while the organizations have yet to comment on the matter. FalleN, fer and coldzera will continue to stick with SK until July and this trio will most likely move to Immortals. Immortals is currently loaning SK Boltz to play in the squad and is also the organization that holds the legendary Brazilian MiBR brand/
As such, Stewie2K will replace the vacancy that Epictacio “TACO” de Melo left when he announced his departure from SK last week. SK’s current lineup is as follows:
Gabriel “FalleN” Toledo
Marcelo “coldzera” David
Fernando “fer” Alvarenga
Ricardo “boltz” Prass (borrowed from Immortals)
Jake “Stewie2K” Yip

Meanwhile, on twitter, Cloud9 CEO Jack Etienne also revealed that the organization respects Stewie2K’s decision to join another team, even though he has just signed a multi-year contract.
I wanted to answer a question that several fans have been asking regarding Stewie. We had a multi year agreement signed a few months ago in place. However, Stew has been good to Cloud9 and when he requested a transfer we made every effort to respect his wishes.

Hours after the announcement, it was Tyler “Skadoodle” Latham’s turn to announce that he had left the official roster and now the team had only three members.
According to information from many sources, Cloud9 spoke with NiP about the transfer of Richard “Xizt” Landström, a player who is on the bench for the Swedish team. The North American team is also eyeing former Liquid player Josh “jdm64” Marzano. In addition, TACO said he will also play for a team in North America. Who will fill the remaining two positions for Cloud9? We have to wait a few more days.
Cloud9’s current lineup is as follows:
Tarik “tarik” Celik
Will “RUSH” Wierzba
Timothy “automatic” I
Soham “valens” Chowdhury (coach)
