STALKER 2 will launch on Xbox Series X and playable on Xbox Game Pass. This news was shared by the developer GSC Game World with a new trailer for the game at the Xbox Games Showcase.
Stalker 2 does not have a specific time yet, meaning the game may not be playable on Xbox Series X in 2020.
But what we do know is that the STALKER branding will soon be available on Xbox Series X and Xbox Game Pass, as well as game information that will be exclusive to Xbox consoles for a while.
Here’s what GSC Game World confirms:
“Both monsters and factions inhabiting the Zone will constantly interact with each other. The previous STALKER games introduced A-Life: a system of simulations of the continuous world. The new version A-Life 2.0 will control the state of the world and the behavior of characters and mutants to keep the Zone ever-changing and full of life.
“Events and encounters will happen all the time even if you’re not nearby to see it with your own eyes.”
“With STALKER 2, we wanted every player to have a unique playing experience. It won’t just depend on A-Life 2.0 to do that, as you will be the author shaping the story.
Beyond scale, the decisions you make not only affect the short-term, but the world as well. We create story branches that lead to a lot of different endings. You will have to make difficult decisions often – as well as dare to deal with their consequences on your own.
“The Xbox Series X fits these ambitions. The power of next-generation consoles from Microsoft will complement GSC Game World.”
