Square Enix developing Guardians of the Galaxy game?

Last year Square Enix released Marvel’s Avengers – an action role-playing game based on the Marvel universe. Although it did not deliver the impressive achievement expected, it seems that this Japanese game developer is still continuing with another project inspired by superheroes – Guardians of the Galaxy.​

On the latest episode of Game Mess, host Jeff Grubb revealed that Square Enix is ​​working on Guardians of the Galaxy. Not too much information about the game has been revealed, Grubb is not sure if the game will be introduced in E3 2021 held next month or not: “Guardians of the Galaxy is being developed by Square Enix… Yeah, that’s for real.”

Jeff Grubb is a quite famous leaker when he accurately revealed many leaks about games. Similar rumors have been circulating for several years now, but fans shouldn’t take them for granted before Square Enix’s official announcement. If Guardians of the Galaxy is in development, the gameplay of the game must be something that many people are curious about, will it be built in the style of Marvel’s Avengers?​
