Since SoulCalibur VI was announced at The Game Awards, many fans have been curious to know which characters will return in the game, plus the identity of the mysterious character in the trailer. Bandi Namco answered a few questions and said Groh will be present, along with favorites like Nightmare, Xianghua, and Kilik.

The new trailer focuses on each character’s moves and finishing moves. Groh seems to have a unique fighting style of his own, centered around the double-edged sword, which can be split into two halberds. Thus, we can guess the character will have two different fighting styles. However, the most interesting thing lies in Kilik’s new fighting style.

Bandai Namco previously said that SoulCalibur VI will return to the events of the original, possibly a reboot. This seems correct. The character Kilik is shown being controlled by the Evil Seed in Soul Edge, the game’s villainous sword. After a few gameplay clips showcasing basic attacks, tosses, and endings, the trailer reveals Kilik turning ‘crazy’, unleashing a powerful attack on his opponents. At this point, it’s unclear if he will transform like Tira in the previous installments, or if he needs to press a button to enable Kilik’s ‘crazy’ transformation mode.

Fans of the series are probably excited to learn that SoulCalibur VI is following the character Kilik, and this isn’t the first time the character’s skills have changed. In his previous appearance in SoulCalibur V, a version of Kilik that can use almost all other characters’ moves, becoming a varied version of Edge Master, but can only use other characters’ attacks. male object. That version of Kilik shows that he has mastered almost all fighting styles. The latest installment looks like a plot created from the ground up for the original SoulCalibur.

There is currently no official release date and character roster information in SoulCalibur. Bandai Namco still has a lot to show players. For fans waiting for their favorite character to appear, stay tuned for more information in the near future.

SoulCalibur VI is slated to release in 2018 on PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
