Scavengers – Will the new survival shooter be as popular as the old PUBG?

Developers Midwinter Entertainment recently announced details on how get key participation Early Access of the Scavengers. This is a game developed by the veteran team behind the Halo, Battlefield and Battlefront franchises. Scavengers transports players to a wasteland, cold and inhospitable, where teams of three compete for survival. Adventurers will be equipped with powerful skills combined with futuristic weapons to overcome the battlefield that combines elements of PvE and PvP.

The environment of the post-apocalyptic Earth is very harsh and not “breathable”. To move through frozen terrain and recover data points, Scavengers offers the player the following capabilities:

Win in a variety of ways: To win a match, the team must fight against both the AI ​​and other players, and must obtain the most data points. The team will lose when all three members are eliminated.

Select Special Explorer: The player can select a character from the list of Explorers. Each Explorer is equipped with a unique weapon and a unique skill (possibly to increase defense, agility, utility, and many other aspects).

Create Specialized Loadouts: Combine weapons, items, and skills to create Loadouts to suit a variety of fighting styles. Players can find a variety of weapons throughout the map or create special weapons through crafting recipes to diversify equipment.

Players can get the Scavengers key by watching Twitch livestreams and following these steps:

1. Create a game account and link it to a Twitch account

2. Watch Scavengers livestream for 30 minutes

3. After confirming their Twitch Drop, the player will receive an email with the Scavengers key and can start playing.

Key receiving event Twitch Drops starts at 2pm (GMT+7) April 28. Scavengers is currently in development for PC, with a full release scheduled for 2021. A console version will be released after the PC version.​
