Pro CSGO player Oleksandr “s1mple” Kostyliev has been banned on Twitch once again.

Natus Vincere star just got banned from Twitch. There are no details as to why he got this, nor how long he will be banned this time.

S1mple then spoke up on Twitter. Although he did not say what happened, but he “parodyed” Dr Disrespect’s statement when the famous streamer was also banned in a hidden way.

This is the third time s1mple has been banned on Twitch and will likely result in a permanent ban from the streaming platform. His last ban occurred in 2019 due to the use of discriminatory language.

The first occurred in August and involved Na`Vi teammate Kirill “Boombl4” Mikhailov. The penalty comes as Twitch is condemning hate speech, which affects many other streamers. At the time, s1mple disagreed with the ban and complained that it was a “joke”. He was only joking with his teammates but he got banned by Twitch.

The same thing happened in November, leading to a second ban. Both bans lasted 7 days. It is not clear if s1mple will be banned this time for the same reasons.

It is believed that s1mple was banned due to plagiarized stream channels

Although there is no official explanation for the ban, some fans think that s1mple was wrongly banned because many stream channels used his old videos for fraudulent purposes.

Twitch has had a big problem for months with fake streams using videos from famous streamers. These streams often add skins and are flooded with bots (fake viewers) on Twitch. From there, they can scam viewers’ Steam accounts or get their personal information.

This has become a huge issue, especially in the CSGO and Dota 2 communities. Many big names have been abused for this purpose, including former CSGO star Michael “shroud” Grzesiek and two-time TI champion , Johan “n0tail” Sundstein.

Whether that’s the cause or not is still a mystery as Twitch doesn’t explain why the user was punished. Even so, this is the third time s1mple has been banned, and the CSGO star is probably fed up with Twitch already.
