Rainbow Six Siege is free in Korea’s state PC net room system

Rainbow Six Siege PC bang

Ubisoft has big plans for Rainbow Six Siege in the Asian market. Recently, the company announced a plan to free the game at the net room system (PC bang) of Korea. The full content of Rainbow Six Siege will be available at these net rooms without limitation. This is Ubisoft’s attempt to grow the esports market.

This news was announced by Ubisoft director Yves Guillemot in June, and then shared by executive producer Alain Corre with more details this week. Anyone with a Uplay account will be able to log into Rainbow Six Siege at PC bang “without having to purchase the game.”

The PC bang version includes all the Rainbow Six Siege agents as well as the charms in the game. “We are so grateful for your support and love for Ubisoft,” continued Corre, “and we want to show our gratitude with this update.”

We’ll have to wait and see how players will respond to the PC version of bang, but the presence in Korea is sure to heat up Rainbow Six Siege. South Korea is one of the largest esports markets in the world.
