PUBG: Which is the most famous map in the game?

The PUBG Twitter account is holding a vote to determine which map should be the theme for July, when the update for the console is released. This also shows which map PUBG plays the most

Erangel is still at the top

Most of the answers are still Erangel – PUBG’s first Map. Of course there are other options as well including Mirarmar, Sanhok and Vikendi. Erangel is currently the representative map of June after many balance changes in appearance and loot.

At the time of writing, Erangel currently leads with 50% of the votes, followed by the small map Sanhok 22%. PUBG Miramar’s largest map (in terms of land area), and the newest map, Vikendi, are both 14%.

With four choices, getting up to 50% of the votes is a testament to the success and simple design of the Erangel map. After many years of release and the presence of three maps later, Erangel is still the favorite map of fans.

PUBG is at the top of the map in terms of number of maps

Voting doesn’t mean other maps aren’t popular. All in all, all of the maps are lauded – this is what sets PUBG apart from its battle royale rivals.

No other battle royale game adds maps, which are free, while Fortnite and Apex Legends just changed their main maps.

As for Call of Duty’s Blackout, the game has a new map, but compared to the original map, Alcatraz is much smaller.

We’ll have to wait and see if Erangel continues to top in the coming months, but for now, PUBG players aren’t bored with this map at all.
