TRANSPORT
In terms of new vehicles, this update will add two vehicles specifically for the Vikendi map.
After removing the UAZ from the snowy terrain, PUBG now introduces the Zima – a vehicle that is easier to control and has more durability. Zima is a combination of van and Jeep that will help you move around the map more conveniently as well as withstand better damage.
If you want to be slow but sure, Zima is your companion, but if you want to be fast, Snowbike is definitely the player’s choice. It will replace the normal motorbike when the update is released, giving Vikendi a lot of unique means of transportation.
Flare Gun
Players have provided feedback on how the Flare Gun performs in private battles and side modes. It seems that the publisher has received enough feedback to remake this item and include it in the regular game.
The Flare Gun is a rare item that allows you to call a care package to drop in the area where this flare is fired. The item the player receives from this care package depends on where they shoot. The Flare Gun drop rate is also different on each map and they can only be fired after the first round is complete.
Survivor Pass: Vikendi
Survivor Pass: Vikendi and the sale of level-up items will end on February 26.
We’ll then have a “rest period”, which will last until March 18 – those who have already completed the Survivor Pass can claim their rewards. These players can claim the rewards and use the coupons in the store until March 18.
Gameplay, skins and other bug fixes
Like every major update, the PUBG team fixes a lot of bugs to improve the game.
In terms of gameplay, the team will test different firing rates on the test server and collect feedback from users before sending them to the server. The team also made some adjustments to the scope, to prevent the player from seeing the inside of the scope in some situations, In addition, the way players lie on rough terrain will be different than before.
The interface is changed more: maybe the Store preview. Now, all items the player is wearing will be removed when you preview new items in the store to avoid blocking the view of the item. Players can select entire sets and equip them all at once to see how the whole set comes together without having to select items one by one.
PUBG also added more detailed options that let you see what your friends are doing in PUBFG on Steam and Discord. It includes how long the match has been going without you having to enter the game.
The full list of optimizations, upgrades, and fixes can be read on the PUBG website.
